NO MYRNA AND I DID NOT ABANDON THE ELECTRONIC AGE AND NO WE ARE NOT GETTING OLD, IT'S JUST THAT THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS TO DO AND BLOGGING IS OBVIOUSLY WAY DOWN ON THE LIST...HOWEVER, WE ARE HAVING A GREAT LIFE WITH KIDS AND GRANDKIDS AND WORK. WE HAVE TAKEN TIME TO HAVE A REUNION OR TWO AND ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO MANY MORE.....

CHRISTMAS IS FOR MAKING FAMILY MEMORIES

Sledding at Soldier Hollow has become a family tradition. Because of new family arrivals (see below) and new additions on the way, our numbers were somewhat diminished. We still had a ball. It snowed the whole time which can be good cuz the tubs go slower and you can almost see where you are going. Sunday was special at music and the spoken word. Followed by brunch at the Little America. Great Grandpa and Mary joined us at the Hale Center Theater for "Scrooge."

And Myrna was a saint and we always had lots of food, even for the blind.

We look forward to 2009, and pray that it will bring us many blessings as did 2008. We live in times of change with one constant and that is the gospel of Jesus Christ. May we all live with that knowledge and reach out always to those we love with support and understanding. We are anxious to post many new blogs as we look forward to births, and blessings, and baptisms, and ordinations, and missionary homecomings, and family reunions, and birthdays, and next Thanksgiving, and Christmas, and all the blessings and even the challenges that this new year will bring. THE 2008 FAMILY REUNION

Thanks to everyone who helped make the 1st annual D.R. Livingston Family Reunion a wonderful success. After talking alot (but apparently not enough) we ended up at Flaming Gorge (thanks Miss and Hans) where we spent some time rafting the Green (cold) River. The fishing was good and so were the fish (thanks Brandon). We had lots of food and fun and I am sure that everyone is looking forward to the 2009 2nd annual Reunion. Please feel free to suggest the location. Love Myrna and Dad

Springtime at the Shire...

Can you believe???? Provo, Utah. You can take the old man out of the country but....... Myrna has had a new experience (not to mention all of the neighbors) lambing 13 yearling ewes from South Dakota. They arrived just before their lambing date and true to calculations the first set of twins came on May 8th. We currently have five ewes with seven lambs.....(140%) If you have questions Myrna can now answer just about anything..

We enjoy watching the

neighborhood watch the lambs play in the evenings. There are always onlookers with lots of questions. We love you all and wish you were here. We look forward to this summer and the reunions.....(June 13th and 14th in Huntsville and July 4th in Northwest Colorado) If you don't make those dates we will see you anytime!!!!! -Doug

I'ts been so fun to witness the miracle of life first hand. Doug has definitely introduced me to a whole new world!! I continue to discover new cool things that my sweetheart can do. He ropes like at the rodeo and delivers lambs ---he's so cool. He's a lamb OB/GYN. -Myrna

Myrna Kay and I are feeling left behind in the world of technology. We are coming up upon our one year anniversary and our fifth trip to Disneyland. We have made the commitment to start a blog to keep you all posted on our life and more importantly so we can stay up on what everyone else is doing.
